The information on this page applies to "victims of trafficking." "Victims of trafficking" are those individuals who were subject to:
- "Severe forms of trafficking in persons." This is defined as sex trafficking in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud, or coercion in which the person induced to perform such act is less than 18 years old; or the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for labor or services through the use of force, fraud, or coercion for the purposes of involuntary servitude, slavery, peonage, or debt bondage.
- "Sex trafficking." This is defined as the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, obtaining, patronizing, or soliciting of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act.

If you are a victim of trafficking and do not have any of the forms of identification listed above, please contact Research Services at 1-800-367-0606 so that your identity can be confirmed by another method.

This documentation may be prepared by a designated representative on your behalf, except that a credit repair organization may not serve as your designated representative.
